Nature is the greatest artist of all, who occasionally allows us the perfect moment to capture and share her beauty. I love the challenge of composing an image and capturing a mood through the camera lens preserving that moment. Photographs allow people to view these moments through a perspective other than their own, whether it is through the veins of a fierce volcano, the soul of a noble tree, or the petals of new life on a desolate plant. As a photographer my ultimate goal is to creates images featuring subjects that act as mirrors reflecting our inner thoughts.

The Pacific Ocean is where my passion for photography began. The sea is a turbulent and unforgiving yet steady and full of beauty and peace. The ocean soothes my emotions bringing out the best within me. Through photography I am allowed the opportunity to interpret and share these opposing sensations with others.

I love working on my images in Adobe Photoshop. Through Photoshop I can pour myself into an image, making it an expression of my emotions and displaying the excitement I had when composing the image.

Pacific: calm and peaceful / to have a soothing effect
To me, the word perfectly expresses my feeling toward photography and nature.

"…Great waves looked over others coming in,
And thought of doing something to the shore
That water never did to land before…
It looked as if a night of dark intent
Was coming, and not only a night, an age.
Someone had better be prepared for rage.
There would be more than ocean-water broken…"
